  • Thanks for the link to the very interesting report. The authors however seem to have made an error in the Names and the Shames list. On page 2, they’ve written thus: ‘Kabando wa Kabando, MP for Gatundu South, who organised weapons deliveries to pro-Kikuyu gangs’.

But actually Kabando Wa Kabando is MP for Mukurwe-Ini Constituency in Nyeri District.

  • I would like to know the names of those who support the violence

  • I WISH TO SPEAK AS A KENYAN WHO WATCHED THE VIOLENCE UNLEASH AND TEAR APART THE CORE OF WHAT WE ARE AS A PEOPLE AND A NATION OUR KENYA. I AM WILLING TO FORGIVE BUT I WILL NOT DO SO WHATSOEVER WITHOUT HEARING THE REQUEST OF PARDON FROM PERPETRATORS. THEY SHOULD COME OUT CONFESS AND ASK FOR FORGIVENESS, IF THEY ARE WAITING TO SEE THE EVIDENCE FIRST THEN AT THAT POINT THEY CAN DEAL WITH THE LAW. GOD BLESS KENYA

I think the kanya human rights commission has missed the point to an extend of behaving like PNU propanda wing. Is it not a human right to meddle with elections, how can 8m votes loose to 3m million votes and it becomes normally. naming names for the sake of being seen to be working is to recipe for disaster, until this commossion becomes objective, all thier reports will be treated as political propaganda, and just like any other government body everybody knows which side thier loyalty lies. No wonder thier action do not elicit any credible support from respected international organization.KNCHR should tell us what role they played in the election fiasco.

It’s obvious from your comments that you are sympathetic to mentioned people
Whether they are from which tribe does not matter? The fact is people died and it doesn’t matter on tribe, political affiliation or the reasons for killing. The point is its illegal, crime to kill or aid killing human beings.

    Have an openmind life

I would like to suggest another word for impunity – stupidity. Even as the ICC is telling us they require a tribunal which conforms to international standards, our lords of stupidity are demanding that mutula delete the clauses that remove kibaki’s so called immunity. A word of advice. kibaki is no more than a tribal chief to these big players like ICC, US and others, even if he may be your God. I hope the Lords of stupidity keep on blundering like this in order to guarantee the speeding up of their trials at the Hague. God has heard our prayers!
