I was interviewed by BBC Outlook about Mzalendo yesterday, the questions were great and I think the interview came out pretty well (it’s always painful to listen to myself on radio/tv though). Click here to listen, the story is at the very end.

Great stuff Ory!
You know why I like Mzalendo? It’s people doing something to help foster change instead of just talking/complaining about it. Keep it up.

Excellent interview. You spoke well and interestingly about Mzalendo. I do hope more and more people will pay attention to your site.

I found out about your website after listening to your interview with the BBC. I must say it was a great interview, but your site is rather drab, no photos. It is sad that only Kenyans inthe diaspora are taking interest in your website, it is only a matter of time before locals livng int he country will find out about it and participate in the debate or forum.

Hi James,
Really, that is not the case. Many people in Kenya would so much want to interact on Mzalendo.com. But lack of access to internet in Nairobi is a nightmare.
In addition, the few who do have access find it too clumsy to do anything meaningful with it.
