KNHCR report on post-election violence

The full report is available here. Unfortunately, no politicians are actually named for reasons given here.

EDIT: Link to the report fixed – sorry about that. Also apparently the politicians were named in last Saturday’s Nairobi Star…anyone have the names (God I miss blogging from Nairobi)?

  • we want names….
    we sorta laready know them..

what was being reported if we have no names(its like people knowing that a house has been broken into then after that having investigators carry out THOROUGH investigation & report that the house has being broken into)?????if we needed just the reports only they are in the newspapers!!!.thats wastage of time & taking kenyans 4 a ride.bure useless kabisa!!!!

WE REALLY NEED TO FIX PEOPLE THEREFORE GIVING REPORTS WITHOUT PUTTING INDIVIDUALS ON THE SPOT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND RESOURCES. LETS IMPROVE AND MOVE TO THE NEXT LEVEL.

we really need to know people who were involved
and serious steps taken to them as quickly as
possible.we are just tired of waiting.

    C’mon guys!
when will we ever be serious enough to know that we are a country on free fall! with this kind of “we have done our own investigations” BUT cannot release the names, you are all part of the mess! when will someone who claims to have some moral authority stand up and bear the truth of that morality!
you dissapoint in the same way our leaders dissapoint!

WHY DONT U JUST NAME THEM ALL. THIS WAS THE ONLY WAY THE LAY MEN CAN HAVE A GLIMPSE AT THE SUSPECTS. I TELL U I WAS EAGERLY WAITING 4 THIS.THE WAY YOU’VE ACTED DOES NOT ADD ANY VALUE NOR DOES IT SOOTH THE HEARTS OF MANY STILL IN IDP CAMPS.IN SHORT ITS ONLY A FEW WHO WILL SEE THE LIST-THEN WHAT’S THE ESSENCE. ITS ALL A WASTE OF TIME, BREADTH AND RESOURCES.

Our country needs to address the underlying causes our woes, the quick fixes we resort to every time we are confronted by problems will not not take us far. Let us deal decisively with causes, not symptoms.
