I am deeply disgusted by the US support for Kibaki. How can they congratulate Kibaki knowing very well that he was rigged in? Do they really support democracy in Africa? I personally think they could care less about us right now. Look at Liberia, wasn’t it under US? Wasn’t Stato supporting Pakistan? Look at their democracy…. Anywhere you smell stato saying they’ll work with us, RUN RUN RUN and don’t look back. There is always a vested interest.
Maybe this is the best opportunity for them to bring in a marine base all in the name of boosting security.
Sorry i just do not trust them.

How do you tell a sad nation to forget about the elections and work together? Do they realise what the ECK did? maccu, they are saying that ECk should investigate any discrepancies!!!!! Are you kidding me? Do they think we are stupid or what? ECK is the government, and if we go to court, the goverment controls it. What options do we have?

Right now i am reading ‘The confessions of an Economic Hitman’ by John Perkins Grrrrrrrrrrrr I just don’t even want them off our business. If any of you loves reading, i recommend the book. It’s an eye opener

HAVE RECEIVED INFORMATION FROM KENYA TO THE EFFECT THAT SHOPS ARE EMPTY (AND CLOSED), PHONE CARDS ARE RUNNING OUT OF CREDIT AND CANNOT PURCHASE MORE/RENEW SO EXPECT COMMUNICATION FROM KENYA TO BE CUT OFF COMPLETELY BY TOMORROW. BEST TO CALL YOUR FRIENDS/RELATIVES DIRECT IF YOU ARE OVERSEAS, HOWEVER, IT IS NOT EASY GETTING THROUGH SOMETIMES.

What happened to the United States government that once upon a time sent us Ambassador Smith Hempstone and helped us drag the Moi government kicking and screaming into multipartism?

I hope the EU maintains its current position and even helps us get some sense into the U.S. govt.

Just watched BBC 4PM canada time and the news is that many people have lost their lives in Kenya, they showed Kibaki being sworn in and showed odinga and mr kirui saying that he is putting his lifeonline by admitting that the presidential elections were rigged, the western world knows, but I wonder what they will do about it as for support for democracy in Kneya

how long is this blackout going to last? If kenya is burning, kibaki should allow media coverage for us to see whats happening the same way he robbed kenyans when the whole world was watching.
