Hello, thanks for the updates. This is actually the only functioning source of election coverage online so kudos. Anyway we will be praying for peace for our country but Kenyans involved in violence should wake up and see that they are destroying their own lives-they should use their common sense.I pray that peace prevails no matter who wins and that whoever wins really has the nation at heart. Kenyans are tired of being lied to-its time leaders start fulfilling their promises!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am a Kenyan in Tunisia,
I wonder what the Kibaki government is taking kenyans as fools. Personally, I have been following elections online from the day one of voting. I am surprised that at 11am Kenyan time today, Kibaki had 4,009,300 votes with Raila having 4,356,092 votes; then allover sudden at 2.30pm Kenyan time, Kiviutu annouces a much lesser figures, raila 3880053 and Kibaki 3842051, I really question the intergrity of Kiviutu, can he tell us what he knows about the delays in this election 2007. We are watching him closely!

Hey Ory, thanks for the updates... just wanted to take this opportunity to apologize for a post i made while you were on break (ie.cell msgs doing the rounds) . My intentions were not to cause any rift amongst Kenyans but purely for humour. Sorry for any inconvenience caused to you & fellow readers. Thanks.

Thanks for your election updates.

Please continue providing as much info as you can on the situation on the ground ... as reported by KTN or otherwise. This is a definitely tight race ... and that definitely explains the tension in the country (and abroad too!)

Great blog, thanks, I'm in South Africa - couldn't be bothered to vote this year - I have no faith in either candidate and wish we had some 'real' leadership in Kenya. But having said that, South Africa is doomed to a new president who is accused of racketeering, corruption, fraud, money laundering and bribery ... thats not to mention rape (of which he was aquitted because the accused admitted that 'he "could" have thought that she wanted sex ... by the way she was dressed'.
