It has to be the high prevalence and abstinence is not quite a campaign for them. Its cold in Nrb btw

It’s certainly out-of-the-box idea, i also find it hillarious. I hope to know whether such initiatives work, especially when the problem is much bigger than just sex.
Can I repost this photo in my blog?
The problem is much bigger than sex, than sex is a big part of the problem. You can repost the photo, just remember to give credit.

Certianly a different alternative form teh ABC rule [Abstinance, Be faithful and use Condoms ] I wonder how the community responds to it though? Masturbation is considered as taboo in mmost of sub Saharan Africa.
Not sure about the response, but I think that in countries with high prevalence like Botswana “keeping it real” as it were is a much better strategy than pretending that people don’t engage in certain behaviors.

Hahaha
That is really funny. I think it would be scary if the guy didn’t keep the towel in place. How about the gals? Just musing. Kenyans would laugh at that poster and that is always a good start. Cheers.

Hi KP. First that you for your congratulatory message on my blog, I really appreciate that.
Regards the poster - whilst in Joburg I interviewed a young lesbian who worked with HIV/AIDS in Botswana. One of the main problems facing activists and workers is the refusal of the Botswanan government to recognise the refugee population and provide them with ARVs as well as gays and lesbians. Meaning that a considerable % of the population are left out of the equation. So how they expect to meaningfully combat HIV is beyond me. As for the poster - plain stupid!
