They are a sheer waste of money, and only serve to support incompetents and sycophants from the Global South abroad, who would otherwise never find their way into a good university. And then they come back home and call themselves Kiraitu Murungi. Example abound in Kenya - abound I say. 

I am SOOOOO fed up with this noxious offspring of the affirmative action mindset. They should use their superfluous money to build and support institutions in the home countries, and not to paste prestigious grades and titles on empty heads and pot-bellies.
