Now this is where serious punditry comes in.
My bet - Orange WINS, calls for snap elections. ‘Baks balks (no pun intended) & retains them in the cabinet (think Abe Lincoln and his antagonists whom he named to the cabinet).
RAILA becomes VP and Ruto joins cabinet. (’Baks is politically shrewd and wants to win in ‘07).
Minor cabinet reshuffle but insignificant. Uhuru stays out in the cold. Nyachae, Mukhisa, Kombo, et al remain - ‘Baks needs them for ‘07.
BOMAS revised & version of it implemented sans Exec PM.
‘Baks Tosha ‘07.
After ‘07 - Raila who?

happy to report town is pretty quite on Saturday at noon. Koinange street shops are all open, Nakumatt, Uchumi, all is well, rallies on TV.
Only few shops are closed, and DT Dobie has withdrawn all beautiful cars from their store window!
